Day 1

AM – Arrival at Paris airport.
Transfer to hotel, located in Montmartre.
  • Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement of Paris is dominated by the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Since the 19th century, it has hosted many artists such as Picasso or Modigliani and has become synonymous with a bohemian life-style.
  • Luggage deposit at the concierge.
PM – Free at leisure.
  • In the evening, an easy stroll from the hotel brings you to Moulin Rouge where you will enjoy an exceptional and marvellous dinner-show, the emblem of Parisian parties and entertainment since 1889! A fantasy world invented on stage: 1000 costumes of feathers, crystals and sequins, exceptional performances, sumptuous sets and original French music.
  • Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2

AM – Guided walking tour of Montmartre.
  • Walking around Montmartre is a bit like walking through a movie set. You are able to discover the sights, sounds, personalities and the special atmosphere of this unique and endearing district. Peep into the secrets of Montmartre by passing through Pigalle and its famous Moulin Rouge, the Montmartre vineyard, the Place du Tertre and, of course, the emblematic Sacré-Coeur Basilica, a true sentinel overlooking the capital.
  • Then off to the Eiffel Tower by metro – the century old Mass rapid transport system.
  • Symbol of Paris! Built by Gustave Eiffel on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1889, it is 330 meters high. The elevator will take you to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower.
  • A dazzling splendour awaits you! With a totally unobstructed view of all the monuments of the French capital: The Louvre, the Grand Palais, Montmartre, the Invalides, Notre Dames ….
PM – Cruise down the Seine River
  • Digest famous Parisian cuisine with a cruise down the Seine River right within the heart of Paris along the most beautiful Parisian monuments.
  • Return to the hotel at your own leisure.
  • Overnight.

Day 3

AM – Metro to Versailles.
  • Departure by metro to Versailles. You will spend the day at the Palace of Versailles (visit with audio guide). Former residence of the kings of France, the Château de Versailles is a true masterpiece of 17th century French art. A personal creation of Louis XIV, the Palace of Versailles, a symbol of royal absolutism, was the seat of the Court and of the Government of France until the Revolution. Now transformed into a Museum of the History of France, the Palace of Versailles plunges you into the heart of three centuries of history….

  • All participants shall be provided with a metro ticket to return to the hotel at their leisure.

Day 4

AM – Train to Annecy
  • Breakfast. Check out.
  • Off to the train station for your train to Annecy, nicknamed “Venice” of the French Alps.
  • Luggage deposit at the hotel concierge.
PM – Charming old town of Annecy
  • Discover this charming old town with a guided walking tour of the charming old town of Annecy with a remarkable history and culture.
  • Dinner and Overnight.

Day 5

AM – Marnaz
  • Travel by coach along high impressive mountains to Marnaz where a helicopter awaits you for the flight of a lifetime gazing down the Mont-Blanc Massif and its most majestic peaks.
  • An experience not to be missed!
  • Lunch.
PM – Grenoble
  • Continue by coach to Grenoble, capital of the French Alps surrounded by mountains.
  • Dinner. Check in at hotel.
  • Overnight.

Day 6

AM – Discover Grenoble
  • Breakfast
  • A guided walking tour of Grenoble, starting with the Bastille.
  • Ride the famous “bubbles” of one of the first urban cable cars in the world (after Rio de Janeiro and Cape Town), built in 1934 where you will reach the fortified site, on the foothills of the Chartreuse.
  • Breath-taking view from the Chartreuse and Vercors massifs through the Belledonne range to Mont Blanc!
  • Then stroll through the alleys of the historic capital of Dauphiné with more than 2,050 years of history awaiting you in the heart of the old town! From the Gallo-Roman enclosure to the Notre-Dame cathedral, passing by the former palace of the Parliament, discover the city where the knight Bayard, the Duke of Lesdiguières, Stendhal lived…
  • Lunch.
PM – Train to Marseille
  • Board the train to Marseille, an emblematic city in the south of France.
  • Check in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 7

AM – Marseille on a guided walking tour
  • Breakfast
  • Discover Marseille on a guided walking tour from the Old Port to the Basilica, passing by the Corniche by the sea. In this journey, you will discover its riches, such as Fort Saint Jean and Fort Saint Nicolas, the Palais du Pharo, the Abbey St Victor, the view from the Pont de la Fausse Monnaie, the Château Valmer or the famous Vallon des Auffes.
  • Lunch.
PM – Château d’If
  • A cruise at the harbour takes you to the island of If to visit the  emblematic Château d’If. A former fortress built on an island opposite Marseille under François I, it became a prison in 1524. Alexandre Dumas’ novel, “The Count of Monte Cristo” made If famous throughout the world.
  • Breath-taking view of Marseille and its bay!
  • Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 8

AM – Train to Nice
  • Breakfast. Check out.
  • Off to the train station for your train to Nice, the flagship city of the Côte d’Azur.
  • Check in at hotel.
PM – Old Nice and its traditions
  • Guided walking tour to discover the essentials of Old Nice and its traditions. Stroll along the Cours Saleya, the main pedestrian thoroughfare in Old Nice. Tasting of a local snack – Socca: made with chickpea flour and olive oil, cooked and browned in a wood oven.
  • Dinner and Overnight.

Day 9

AM – Principality of Monaco
  • Breakfast.
  • Off to the Principality of Monaco. Le Rocher (the Rock) as it is nicknamed, Monaco is a small piece of land jutting onto the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the historical part of Monaco part.
  • Lunch.
PM – Casino de Monte-Carlo
  • Visit the Casino de Monte-Carlo – the main witness of the Belle Epoque – built in 1863.
  • Thereafter, free time to discover the square with its sumptuous facades, shop or try your luck at the casino…
  • Return to Nice via Cap d’Ail, Eze-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Villefranche-sur-Mer.
  • Overnight.

Day 10

AM – Château de Bellet
  • Breakfast.
  • Visit the Château de Bellet, located on the hills behind Nice, in the heart of the vineyard that bears its name. Learn above vines and wine in a commented stroll in the heart of the vineyards, capped off with a wine tasting and light lunch.
PM – Historic Fragonard factory
  • Visit the historic Fragonard factory in Grasse discovering a sensorial journey of traditional perfumery, from the processing of raw materials to the packaging of finished products. The machines used, from copper stills to those in soap workshops, offer historical, social and cultural interest in the techniques and working conditions governing family perfumeries until the 1950s.
  • Return to Nice.
  • Overnight.

Day 11

AM – Promenade des Anglais
  • Breakfast.
  • Cruise departing from the port of Nice. Be carried away by the charms of navigation…
    From Cap de Nice to the Promenade des Anglais via the famous bay of Villefranche – be charmed by this dream setting, rich in splendid buildings and magnificent villas.
  • Lunch.
PM – Last-Minute Shopping
  • Free at leisure and/or indulge in last-minute shopping.
  • Farewell dinner.
  • Overnight.

Home
  • Breakfast. Check out.
  • Transfer to Nice airport for your return flight or continuation of your European trip.
